Finished refurbishing the second SY77. Cleaned and greased the keybed, fixed the plastic part that was damaged in transit and changed the floppy belt (putting the new one without twisting proved to be tricky). It all works perfectly. It's in amazing condition, you'd think it came out of the factory yesterday. Original owner, Andreas F (shown in the startup screen) thank you so much for taking good care of this.
The battery seems to be the original one and is still good! There are voices preloaded by the previous owner in memory. I will soon share these as a sysex file.
The new screen is amazing. It's actually a greenish yellow and very very sharp. Takes me back to 1989 instantly.
