Sorry to say that the software still sucks big time ..I'm happy to pay for software but this really is well below standard. I loaded the midi file that Gunnar kindly sent me (attached below) and created a sty file. The resulting style is very very poor and yes I loaded the correct voice list into the program too.
Play the midi file on your keyboard and it's not bad at all as a backing track "Dwight Yoakam Guitars and Cadillacs.mid" OK now play the attached style created on the Yamaha software "guitarscaddies.sty" Main issues is it's nowhere as professional ..only 2 intros and 1 ending and the variations are terrible plus there are NO OTS voices. OK Just for comparison I found another Dwight song in sty format "DYoakam Carmenlita" (also attached) and that's what the style should sound like with professional variations, 3 intros and 3 endings so that's enough for me to say the Yamaha software is NOT producing anything decent
Also note that the pro style is around 60kb and the midi is 45kb yet the Yamaha produced file is only 17kb!!
