I am only familiar with the Breedlove version although I "think" they no longer fit it, can't remember now
However, it does work and it rather surprisingly doesn't affect the tone. Although I suppose unless you can try the same guitar without it, there is little way of knowing. All the Breedlove guitars I have tried have sounded good.
That D-25 for just €200 is definitely worth the effort of sorting it out. I never seem to find anything like that in a second hand shop around here. It is usually cheap laminate classical guitars that cost less new than the shop is trying to sell it for. The other sources in Brighton all seem to know what guitars are worth so there are hardly any real bargains to be had![Sad :(]()
