My very subjective view:
Before the SX720, I had the S900 since 2008. So there are 16 years between these two keyboards. And after 16 years of rapid technical progress in microelectronics, I would have expected a little more. And that applies equally to the SX920 and even Genos2.
No question, the SX720 has various improvements in detail, nice-to-have features and a few gimmicks. But I can't see any real technical progress in relevant things. Even after 16 years, nothing relevant has changed in the automatic accompaniment, except perhaps the GE mode. And still no seamless sound transition! In 2024! And the touch display - I find the display of any simple tablet more appealing.
Please don't misunderstand: The SX720 is a good-sounding and easy-to-use keyboard. But so were its predecessors. Where is the progress?
