The PSRa3000 is actually the same base keyboard as the PSRs770, but with 512mb instead of 140mb expansion size, and a ton of ME sounds already built in. It's the same gen as the 2014 PSRs770/s970 and the 2015 PSRs670. The PSRA5000 is the same gen as the 2019 PSRsx700/sx900 and 2020 sx600, despite being released in 2021.

That gen only had 4 assginable dsps, so if you used 1 for the style (which was typical usage), you only had 3 left; if you used the 1st as global, with only 3 more, so if you used more than 3 channels with assignable DSPS. the first non-global gets unassigned.

How do you get more DSPs? You can't. *but* you can do tricks; for example, if you have a lot of distortion guitar tracks, assign *that* to the global. No it's not the same as inserting it, as distortion DSP's usually overwrite the original guitar sound, whereas doing it this way you'll be left with the original non-distortion signal as well, but if you make the DSP return louder, you can usually 'hide' the non distorted guitar, especially for chord strumming tracks. Now what if you need a global delay as well? In that case, reassign the global chorus to a delay (it's even assignable to a user DSP!)

But you've got 4 total, and 1 is usually set aside for global (usually delay)
