Hey, Thanks for your reply. What I learned from this...the Montage M is much more flexible when it comes to assigning an external keyboard. I would love to see the option to assign midi channels to parts as I want on the modx, but I guess I'm not the first oneMontage M, not Modx, but maybe the OS is similar enough? Kier just posted a video for the same question but slaving Montage M (Montage original and MODx are essentially the same sound library and workflow)
