Guys, I like sharing files when I can. But I share them personally on forums. What I mean by that is if I post a link anyone is welcome to download from it, but not welcome to publish my link and advertise it to the public. If you want to share them further you can upload them and share them from your own space.
I thought this was the usual way, but I've just found a link to my personal server space, where I have my files, advertised on YouTube by Morrie Reese, with a tutorial on how to download and use them. Needless to say I broke the link and let Morrie Reese know he was welcome to share them from his own space but not from mine. But it's just luck I found what he was doing.
I don't think I'm overreacting, am I?
I only share my own links, or those from the internet archives if I find any. I don't pass other people's links around, I'll maybe post them or files from them from my own space, if I want to share.
Pretty gobsmacked.
