Not sure quite what you mean; both the Genos1 and Genos 2 *do* do aftertouch with an initial hard hit (but the way you're playing is *really* hard, not good for the rubber contacts long term). But the *way* aftertouch is triggered depends on the voice (if it's S.Art or Reg), so like a synth sound like you demoed above will also AT when pressed harder, stop AT when I let up, and then AT again when I press it harder. But you're using S.Art guitar, and as Patt22 already pointed out, that will affect it; Concert Guitar responds to after touch much more easily than Flamenco, for example.
Now, funnily enough, changing the at settings doesn't really change how far you need to press to respond to AT, but changing the key touch response changes how hard *you* physically play, so you may need to play with that (I usually don't recommend Medium, Easy or Soft1 on G2, for example). But YMMV, you'll probably want to play with the key velocity response curve to see how you want AT to respond.
Bogdan the Genos 1 and Pa5x respond equally with AT with the same type of voice (I just tried concert guitar there, too) *however* the G2's further key travel makes it harder to control in my opinion (you have to move the key further before AT engages) so I actually prefer the AT on Genos1/PA5x.
