Something no other arranger can do BTW. I took a Jazz piano, a Felt and a Grand and started layering using velocity affects & insert effects only on one voice be design (all had reverb to some degree which is selectable). The combinations are about anything you can imagine.
Then I added panning so for example, if I played softly I had a LEFT panned felt piano and if I played normally the Grand came in balanced L/R and if I hit the key harder a RIGHT panned Jazz piano would come in. Keep in mind I can adjust the velocity to also drop out the felt when playing hard or normally. Additionally, I added an insert effect to the jazz so I tried delay & others for some ambient texturing effects and there's tons of options.
There's more, go to the ADSR filter & resonance section on any of the (3) and change the flavor of each voice.
So all this and guess what? I saved it as a single voice and I could create hundreds of piano variations including with EP or DX or acoustic mixed in.
Then I really got crazy and added a double copy of the same thing above in voice slot #2 just for fun. I could have also detuned parts if I wanted. If you like designing your custom voices in minutes, Event is insanely unlimited for this type sound design. No one else will have your custom voice unless you sell it to them or give it away.
Say you really like the low end on piano "A" and then the mid section on piano "B" but the top end on piano "C". No problem just make it in seconds on the Event.![:dance:]( "Dance")
But what if I want those transitions to blend I can over lap the key range. If I want to use (6) pianos in some configuration similar to this I can build a 2nd copy inside voice 2 and save them both "on". I haven't tried 6 layers but I think I will do that. With 6 layers if you don't like your piano creation do it over until you do like it. What's an option like this worth? Sure easily worth $1,000 more with the left hand domination Real & Live feature. Probably actually worth more than the extra $1,000.![:wink:]( "Wink")
