The reverb effect from the CSF-TA should be just as pronounced as it is on the LS-TA.
The actuator is in the right place although I have never seen any glue around the mountings as shown in your photo. It seems that Yamaha has modified the design slightly since the guitar was first released. The actuator now has posts glued to the back of the guitar, probaby to ensure there is no movement of the mounting. The main thing is that the actuator sits tight against the back of the guitar.
As this is a brand new guitar I would definitely get it checked by the dealer, perhaps compare with another CFS-TA in store. Or if that is not possible, return it for an exchange.
