Worth mentioning that passwords being compromised is mainly the reulst of businesses being hacked rather than individuals. The companies we trust with our personal details not being able to keep them safe and secure.
This is why two factor authentication is so important. Even if a hacker has your username and password they still cannot access your account without also having your 2FA code. And that is very unlikely.
2FA is available as an extension fo phpbb forums but I have a feeling most people would not use it. I can add it as an option on an individual basis but I really think the take up would be low. Better to use a password managed and complex password.![🤔]()
