The documentation is on page 97 right after the definition of the overall SysEx message structure for Chord Control.
You need to encode four values -- cr, ct, bn, and bt -- as Murray has shown. These four values are the chord root note, chord type, bass note and base type. Murray's example uses hexadecimal everywhere.
